Investment Strategy

The investment seeks a favorable long-term total return that reflects the investment performance of the U.S. equity markets, as represented by the benchmark index, while giving special consideration to certain environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) criteria. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in large-cap equity securities that meet the fund’s ESG criteria. It may also invest in securities issued by other countries, or their agencies or instrumentalities as approved by the Board of Trustees. The fund may invest up to 15% of its assets in foreign investments.
